What we did in this location:

As a result of heavy rain and flooding at the property, the insured reported of structural damage, substantial mould growth and damage to contents which was later deemed Non Restorable. During our technicians attendance excessive mould was found which had spread widely underneath some timber sheeting which had been installed to the Bedroom Ceiling by another Restoration Company in a bid to contain the area. Drying equipment was installed to assist in drying out of the structure and elevated moisture levels. Remove and disposal of affected flooring in lounge area was also carried out. It was later found that water was tracking into the property due to failed waterproofing. Surface mould at property was either treated and contained or cut out where found to be ingressed. The insured was happy with the outcome of their restoration repairs as carried out by South QLD Restoration following a traumatic and stressful time.

What we did in this location:

Kristen & Allen had a big storm with very large hailstones resulting in the roof leaking which then caused water damage and mould through-out the entire property. The entire house (14 rooms in total) had to be stripped out and treated for water damage and mould. Our qualified technicians removed the wet ceilings, insulation walls and all the mould affected soffits and cleaned up the water in the entire property. We organised for the removal of the non restorable structure which required 4 skip bins to dispose of. Our technicians then completed a contents inventory for the non-restorable items. Due to the whole entire house being affected and stripped out, the customer/owner of the property was put into temporary housing however met our technicians on site and wanted to assit with the clean out of the non-restorable structure.
