Batten down the hatches! Severe thunderstorm warning – Southeast Queensland

At 2:50pm this afternoon, the Bureau of Meteorology detected a very dangerous thunderstorm on their radar north of Boonah.

The thunderstorm is moving to the northeast and is forecast to affect Peak Crossing by 3:30pm and Redbank Plains by 4pm.

If you live or work in Logan, Ipswich, Somerset, Scenic Rim, Brisbane or Moreton Bay Council Areas, prepare yourself for damaging winds, heavy rainfall, possible flash flooding and large hailstones.
