Mitigation of Water Bunya .

Insured reported water leaking through the eaves following a storm event at the property. The water eventually made its way into the bathroom and through to the master bedroom causing damage to the walls and flooring affecting two rooms. The carpet in the master bedroom was also damp, which required a water extraction and anti microbial and deodarising treatment and later a carpet steam clean once dry. South QLD Restorations technician assessed the condition of the carpet, as well as completing moisture content readings, moisture mapping and installed the appropriate number of drying equipment at the property. Surface mould was also evident to the ensuite ceiling which was subsequently cleaned and treated.
